Energetic Overwhelm: Why You Feel Foggy and What to Do About It

What is energetic overwhelm?

 

Energetic overwhelm happens when your field is overloaded and overstimulated. This can come from external sources, like news, people, or social media, or internal pressure, like decision fatigue, emotional processing, or overthinking.

Most high-functioning, intuitive women don’t realize how much energy they’re carrying until their system starts to shut down. It’s not dramatic. It’s subtle. It sneaks in as:

  • Brain fog or trouble focusing

  • Feeling “off” but not knowing why

  • Low energy even after rest

  • Emotional numbness or overstimulation

  • Intuition that feels quiet or confusing

  • Resistance to things that normally light you up

How to clear energetic overwhelm

 

  1. Ground your body first
    Energetic overwhelm disconnects you from your body. Start by placing your feet on the ground, taking a few deep breaths, and coming back into presence.

  2. Run your energy
    Visualize a grounding cord releasing all that’s not yours. Imagine cosmic light flowing through the top of your head, cleansing each chakra, and exiting through your feet. Let it be simple.

  3. Call your energy back
    Say aloud, “I now call all of my energy back to me—cleansed, cleared, and in present time.” Feel it return. Even just this one practice can shift everything.

  4. Get into nature or silence
    Nature has a naturally cleansing effect on your field. So does quiet. Even a few minutes away from screens or stimulation can start to reset your frequency.

  5. Protect your field moving forward
    Once you’ve cleared your energy, don’t forget to seal it. Imagine a golden light surrounding you and affirm, “Only energies that serve my highest good are welcome in my field.”


 

You’re not scattered, you’re saturated

 

The fog you feel is a signal, not a flaw. It’s your system asking you to pause, release, and come home to yourself.

When your energy is clear, your mind follows. Your emotions stabilize. Your creativity returns. And most importantly, your connection to your soul becomes audible again.
